The Earth appeared to stop turning on its axis in 1433 B.C., according to evidence in Ancient Peruvian and Biblical records, according to Zacheria Sitchin.
“In the reingn of Titu Yupanqui Pachacuti II, the fifteenth monarch in Ancient [pre-Inca] times [in the Western Hemisphere], the night did not end when it usually does and sunrise was delayed for twenty hours. No eclipse lasts so long. It was as though the sun suddenly stood still. As recorded in Peru, then, the NIGHT lasted 20 hours.” [Sitchin, Z. 1990, The Lost Realms, page 151]
On the opposite side of the world the DAY lasted twenty hours longer. According to the Bible, “The Israelites had taken Jerico and Ai. Amorite kings put up a combined force against the Israelites in Ajalon, near the city of Gideon. It began with a night attack that put the Canaanites into flight. By sunrise, as the Canaanite forces regrouped near Beth-Horon, “Yahweh delivered the Canaanites unto the Children of Israel, saying, ‘Let the Sun stand still in Gideon.’ Yahweh “cast down great stones from herven pon them and they died.” The sun continued to be seen, to hang in the skies for twenty hours.”
In Canaan the sun did not set for twenty hours; in the Andes, the sun did not rise for the same length of time.
A comet had come too close to Earth, disintegrating in the process. Comets orbit the sun in a clockwise direction that is opposite the orbital direction of the Earth. Such a kinetic force counteracted temporarily the Earth’s rotation and slowed it down. The day the sun stood still in Canaan was the night without sunrise in the Americas.
This according to Sitchin, is “irrefutable proof of the veracity of Andean recollections of an Ancient Empire” that Adad/Viracocha with his Sumerian and African miners and the help of his cousin Thoth/Quetzelcoatl brought to the Lake Titicaca area of Peru.
